soilwork wrote: did you come up with the dimensions yourself for the ramp that is painted red, or did you follow some ramp plans. That is the exact size I want, 5' or possibly 6'. Plan to build this summer. Nice job though, looks smooth. I have never built a ramp so am kind of worried about laying down the loot for one and have it come out crappy. How did you get the radius for the transitions on that?
I bought plans from Whitefish Skate Ramp Co.. The plans include life size traceable templates and detailed instructions. I also didn't want to mess up. |

is that about a 5 footer, 12 wide and about 8 feet of flat? Sweet ramp regardless. What did that run you to build? What is the top surface? |

Almost 10' flat, 4' high and 12' wide...it got the makeover. The top is Skatelite Pro which ran me about 900.00 ... It was 8' wide, but I retooled it and she's real purdy now. When I first built the rampit ran me about 700.00, but all in all I've sunk a little over 2000.00 into it.

Its a challenge! Drop in, 360flip over the chain, Blunt to fakie, fakie half cab kickflip over the chain, smith grind, ollie to manual over the chain, pivot to fakie and so on... Song and Haslam practice for the Cheese and Crackers Vid on Mikes ramp. |
