why not edit the double post instead of adding yet another third bump?  |

if a message is supposed to be private, why are threads bumped with a pm sent?
kind of defeats the purpose a little doesn't it? |

People post that they pm'ed the person. Weird, yes but some people don't have the pm feature set to pop up when you get one and then they don't check. It is not an automatic thing when you hit the pm button. |
