Aside from the NEW goddamn spray paint (after Sloppy Sam took the time to remove the old paint) there is now WAX dripped all over the bowl...fucking nearly killed myself dropping in and slamming so fucking hard nearly broke my hand.
I assume the wax is from the recent vigil somebody held at the park for someone who died. Nearly had to have a vigil for myself...
Rest of the park seems fine.
But I am truly depressed and frustrated about this, as I love that pool. If anyone has any ideas of how the hell to get it off (I can only think of scraping with some sort of metal scraper, then dousing the thing in gasoline to burn off the fine wax layer...either that or taking some BMXers face and scraping it off with his teeth), please let us know.
I know Stamford is in the works, but the Wethersfield pool is very unique to skate and hate to see it so frigging fucked up right now. |

I work in Wethersfield and can attest the youth of this town are of the loser variety....not all but they have their share.
what really sucks is even if you catch them doing it they are underage and this new generation laughs at you and you cannot even touch them.
when we were kids we would have gotten bitch slapped and the cops would laugh at us if we 'turned in' who slapped us because we deserved it. nowadays you go to jail.  |

| The problem with Wethersfield is site location. No street visibility. I don't think skaters are responsible. |
