I was told S9 did the wood. Didn't know Arbor was in the mix.

Everyone wants you to think they invented the wheel...or the wood.

Good looking ride!

What happened to Dregs when S9 got bought? I know S9 did their wood.

I think Dregs is doing more of their own thing recently. I've seen Biker Sherlock a lot more in stuff online, and in CW magazine in the past year or two.

I got nothing against Biker, but I'm tired of the ads they've been doing lately. I'd rather see the boards they make. Stop trying so hard to be funny or clever.
As far as who makes who's decks, there's way too much similarity in longboards today. Everything looks the same.

Meh, whatever...I think the thing with Arbor was that they were sold alongside S9 in a lot of shops, and used S9's OEM trucks and bearings. The Dregs Race that I bought looks sweet, and fits into my current obsession with Gravity Games-style boards

Be funny if they went back to old school downhill rules...no hands down!

Bring back John Hutson!

Sector 9 doesn't do anyone's wood not even their own. they use Watson so one could say TumYeto does their wood

They did (up until Quiksilver, haven't paid much attention since around that time) their own flat stuff. I thought they did the concave stuff maybe somewhere else, but wasn't sure.

Got ahold of BombSquad Salt Flat Throwback second. Refurbished and pimped.

I never thought of putting a nosebone on my downhill deck. Great idea, in case it gets away.

I have seen those "impact shield" sorta things, but they are kinda fugly.

hmmmm, anybody got a black nosebone for sale?

Yeah, a bunch of the guppies in the fish pond think the UGLY nose guards are ugly. I don't. I get 'em from MileHighSkates. They're cheap, easy to install and I put 'em on just about everything. One to protect the nose from angry mailboxes, curbs and trees. On the tail because I'm always standing them up on end when not skating.

yeah, I've had the problem of what to do when I'm not riding- I stand it on end, but it does a little damage- it's funny, that's not a problem with my regular skateboards, and not even my Dogtown cruiser longboards, only my downhill deck. I've got a Kebbek Revenger, with the hole cutout on the tail, and there is already a crack on the top ply where the cutout is...... I guess it's a little more fragile there because of the cutout- I might have to get two nosebones....er, bumpers for it.

But now that I think about it, it might not be a good idea to drill holes there- I guess I'll put one on the front only, and stand it upside down when I'm not riding (even though it's a downhill setup, I sometimes ride it to pick up my daughter from school. I can't set the board on it's wheels on school property, so while I wait for her, that's why I have to stand it up).
