So I think I have a combination of ghost images and trapped ink from prior prints stuck in my silk mesh. Its preventing my ink from permeating in a coulple of places. I have tried over and over and over again to clean using a diazo remover to no avail. I also tried some stronger solvents too like mineral spirits. Is there some sure fire method of cleaning the screens so that I can get them completely clean, free of any ink and diazo? I am using water based inks and ulano diazo. |

Welcome to wonderful world of water based inks, this is why I prefer solvent based inks.

you can buy a chemical from your silkscreen supply called haze remover. Make sure you use rubber gloves and are in a ventilated area? Shit is toxic. |
