We all know the skate business is brutal. I was reading the new skateboard mag and in one article someone mentioned Bueno is no longer. I was intrigued (cause Im a nerd) so I looked up their site and nothing came up. These are some of the companies that have died in the last 5 years (hopefully we won't be in the list anytime soon):
Bueno
The Unbelievers
Young Guns
Hell Rose
Bootleg
Hollywood
I know there are more, so please add to the list.
I am interested in knowing what happend in each |

Who?
I only see resurrection of companies, in my selfish view. |

Bueno and Popwar lost distribution from Giant.
Status/Inc/DNA skateboards became Plan B.
NHs dropped Bootleg when Baker was born.
Not sure about the last 5 years but these were recent
Aesthetics
Media
City Stars
deathbox
Firm
Iota
Pig Wood
Supernaut
Some I thought were dead are just under the radar-big in Japan.

No new news just a reconfirmation of the above,
Hellrose: When it finally caught on it was over and suddenly there was Crimson
Popwar: Same as above but actually sold pretty well.
Bueno: I've still got people asking for them.
Pig: I still sell the wheels and have several of their decks.
I don't want to do it but I will ask anyway who do you think is next?
Teenage Runaway: Already down to dirt cheap ....did it ever fly? |

Anyone have a line on where to find some Unbeliever decks? I have a customer looking for some.
Thanks - Zig |
