I've heard that they are made with shitty wood...anyone have any experience with the newer boards?
I was thinking of carrying a few for my site.
Thanks |

I have one now and I think that they are great - they are wide and fun to ride.

If you are counting the reissues, then no, I haven't had a problem. I really like the Cab that I skated. As far as the popsicles, couldn't tell you. |

Don't like the kick nose (skull & sword).
Don't like the lack of top sheet graphics and the lack of a full dip paint job.
Don't like the lack of wheel wells on the front.
Don't like the skinny tail................
But hey it held up well in my humid car truck without warping. The wood is impressive so I'd pick up a spoon nose Vato Rat reissue from Powell.

I just retired a mini logo and it was real good for a decent amount of time, just mounted a brigade ellis, and they both are quality. Good pop! Better than chapman and black label, those are my other recent skates. Powell has been around and know how to make a good deck. If you are selling to kids go with blind and world industries. |

I have a skull and sword re-issue, the thing is awesome. As always, Powell quality is second to none. The finish is perfect and the board is hard as a rock. I love the shape- it works great in bowls. |
