Heading to Chicago in a week ... any must visit skate shops in the city? Preferably with at least some old school stuff ...
Can't skate on this trip as I'm still nursing an ankle. |

I can't think of any shops that carry old school stuff but AWH distribution has some old stock.

You can't go there a browse but if you buy something you can pick it up there.
The most "core" shop in Chicago is Uprise on Milwaukee

There's also a shop on Wilson called Wilson Yards and near Wrigley(about 3 blocks south on Clark St) is Windward. Windward is a sailboard, skateshop that's been around since the 80s. |
