My set-up (looks a bit more trashed these days and I put some Powell freestyles on it):

I just picked this up off ebay on Monday and it delivered today. Not sure what wheels will go on it, but it will have Blurrs until I decide. What happens to all the axle nuts? It seems that the last few sets of trucks that I have received were all missing their axle nuts.
Better pic tonight. I am at work and all I have is my cell phone. |

aah, Don Brown. My personal favourite. Check out some rad old footage of him. Look for PSL contest 1991. IMO, His best freestyle run ever... that guy was the showman of all showmen.
Better style, Better tricks, and better flow than anyone else that year. |

Yes they are ultralite bases. The hangers even feel like plastic. Not sure about what wheels I will use. For now, it will either be G-Bones or Blurrs. OSS still has Powell and Santa Cruz freestyle wheels, but that will have to wait until payday. Unless someone needs a used deck to restore. |

Other Rob, to be honest at that time I had spares. Jacob and I did a trade and one truck was missing nuts. The Don Brown was missing all axle nuts and half of the hardware. A few other trucks that have come my way are either missing nuts or are totally wasted. I stole some nuts from a different set of trucks to set the Brown up but I need different wheels. Any of the Freestylers want to recommend a good wheel for this set up? The Blurrs are ceterset and 45mm wide, I think. They tuck under too much. Do I need to look for different trucks or is there a wheel that will work? |
