Ok here's the deal. I made this press and it makes boards ok. I don't think I am getting enough even pressure across the mold. The mold itself was made in one of those machine shops that makes stuff like this with a cnc cutter. You know what I'm talking about. Anyways I done pressing. It's a pain. I just want to shape. Finding drilled uncut blanks is easier than finding the wood to press. I've pressed a bunch of boards. Some d-lam, some have airholes, some just crack but I do get some gems from time to time. These defects are most likely because of something I'm doing. I do use a 2 part glue and the last few times I just used wood glue just to try some new shapes. So I'm selling it for $500 for everything. Most likely you are gonna need to reweld the press. DO NOT TRUST MY WELDS WITH THIS MUCH PRESSURE. That jack needs to go. It's from harbor freight and well if you know anything about harbor fr.... well you get the picture. So basically the mold itself cost me like over $700 to have made. The metal to make the press was over a hundred. The mold is glued onto the press with some gnarly glue but only the edges are attached. It can easily be removed with a grinder/cutter.

The shop that made this mold has made molds for other board companies. The concave is good and can be used for today's popsicle boards as well as more functional old school shapes. I will sell the mold by itself.

The whole press is a pain to move. It was basically welded together in my garage and slide into the corner. I really have no idea how it's gonna be moved.

I'm in San Marcos, Ca.

There are some small pins sticking out to make marks in the board for where the trucks go. These can be cut off.
