Any tips on glue in Europe ?
I still have problems finding the right/perfect glue.
Does anyone knows where i can buy/order suitable glue for making skateboards ?
IN EUROPE ! or even better: in Belgium (shipping is bad for the environment and my wallet)

belgium: great in chocolat, but that wouldn't keep my wood together

the glue we use, Franklin sk8,
was developed for skateboard manufacturing.

it works so well that they sell it in a consumer repackage.
available at most home improvment centers / hardware stores,

franklin titebond3.

also the titebond 2 works well.

Indeed Franklin and National Casein have special "skateboard-glue".

when it come to making skateboard, it's a sad thing the USA is not the world. Here in Europe, Franklin and National Casein is not available. And so far i haven't found any European manufacturers who provide special skateboard-glue.

Importing glue from the US is an option, but I can't believe there's no glue in europe that suites our purpose.

i see they have it available in gallon sizes.
one gallon should get you about 10 boards.

not sure what that cost is in euros compared to dollars.

we buy this glue by the 55 gallon drum for around 600.00 dollars,
and we get about 600 boards per barrel.

1 Gallon would cost about 120 USD and that's without shipping!
Probably filled with gold.....
So, if you can get an uncut for like 15 Euros it would make no sense to use glue for 8 Euros per deck.

For me, it's about the making, not about the money...

But at the other hand, Yoyo has a point. It's expensive.

And i wonder if it's made in the EU. Let's think about the environment.

There must be a compagny in Europe making "skateboard-glue" !?!

The search continues...

they have it for around 32.00 us dollars in gallons,
that is about 3.20 per board.

they also show 5 gallon pails at 144.00 = 2.88 per board.
