I don't know when or where they started. Mine is solid oak and is made and looks just like a Logan Earth Ski. A guess would be Canada, even though it says USA. Slob could confirm that. |

The original old Torque company was based in Seattle ca. 1978. I did some research b/c two "no-name" decks in my collection are actually Torque decks that were made for the Alpine Haus skate team here in Spokane in the late 70s.
What tipped me off was that the Torque rocker I have is the same shape/ same construction (maple lam w/ two layers of fiberglass inside) as the Alpine Haus signature deck. |

i love that jawbreaker record! thanks for the info flux on the older of the two torque companys. the one im lookin was offically called TORQUE MFG and was from atlanta in the mid90s. i know someone on here has to have something from them. anyone? |
