you'd be diggin it. Some people like the flow bindings, they are comfortable but I wasn't really into them when I tried them out a couple years ago. I just couldn't get them to give my feet that locked in feeling. Check the base to make sure it's not oxidized...if not, grab that thing. You can always swap the bindings if you don't like them but that board will go anywhere you put it.
That is a nice price for all of that stuff. |

The thing about Libtech is that they are made in the USA (Mervin Manufacturing) which is unlike many (most) of the others (including the bulk of Burton). Salomon is at least in house (vs made in China aka OEM) though I think their boards are fab'd in europe. Personally I'm not a fan of jibber boards but if I were gonna spend that much money on a board I would go custom instead and no you can't do everything on a skate banana too soft, short and wide for my taste... |

I don't ask anybody to blindly buy a Lib Tech Skate Banana,
just read the reviews, and try to find a place where you can demo one.
See if you like what you read about the performance, and then try one out for yourself.
....and yes....they are an all-terrain board.
Why else would they be called "quiver killers"? |

Lib has been making great boards for a long time. Mike Olson and crew are true innovators and it's cool to see them go on even after they were bought by Quiksilver.
I've been riding Libs since 1991 and almost my whole family of 5 is on one. They last pretty long as well....... my wife is riding a 1994 ACME.
The Skate Bananas are not even available over here as distribution is kinda weak, but the reviews are truly great. Even European ebay is no good source to find one. |

hey guys, thanks for ALL your help and advice. I picked up a slightly used K2 and brand new burton mission bindings ...all for $275. Im pretty stoked...now I just need to get to a mountain!
thanks again, had some serious PMs back and forth, and people willing to take time for advice when they didn't really have to.
My roommate also gave me some awesome 80s bright yellow Burton snowpants with knee and butt pads!?
cheers and happy new year!
