yes, seriously uncool. Plus why would you put a piece of artwork that doesn't mean much to you on your body? Ive never understood that line of thinking when it comes to tats. I plan mine out for months and every one I have means something to me, so I know in 10 years it still will. Picking something off a wall or the internet? I don't see the point at all. Go buy it on a tshirt instead.
Picking something right off the wall is old school tattooing. Sailors didn't spend months planning out the tattoo they got when they were on shore leave...they just had a few drinks and did it. Plus a lot of flash is drawn by the actual person doing the tattoo so they would probably even tell you if they ever used the piece before.
I have both custom and flash tattoos...the meaning behind them is not always directly related to the exact art. Even custom tattoos include someone else's artistic vision.
so back to the original question: If you are concerned with copying just let your tattoo artist tweak the basic idea |

That's all, then it pretty much becomes your "own". You have to live with it, so get whatever you want. |

I'll do that when you get that cupcake removed from your pube line. |

Or maybe a nice 'Live to Ride' tattoo |
