They do a $600/year "membership".
I skate it once a week--twice a week on the rare occasion. I don't bother paying up front, though.
I can see that being expensive for a kid, but then again, considering what parents pay for their kids to play hockey, lacrosse or football, it's not that crazy.
For me, when I was playing a lot of golf (pre-marriage), I was spending WAY more than that for a season.
It's all relative. |
