To be honest, now I know who you are I'm not going to trade anything with you ever again you bloodsucking creep.
Just so everyone knows, we had agreed to trade DVDs over the Christmas period and you had asked for a selection of DVDs I had personally spent the time and effort to capture, encode, make menus for...all at the best quality, all from original tapes. You badgered me constantly about sending the disks even though you knew I was away for 3 weeks, even though you hadn't sent a thing. For the big pile of DVDs I sent in return I got shitty encoded videos piled on to 2 DVDs. Maybe you should look in to how much footage you can get on to DVDs at decent quality mate, because squeezing 2-3 hours on a disk designed to take 1 hour 20 minutes...you know it's going to be shit.
On top of that I just got your emailing list in my inbox today. Those DVDs I spent the time making and I traded with in good faith you are selling for �9.99.
You are a leech and a money grabbing cunt who is trading just for the sake of making money, NOT for the love of skate videos and wishing to share them with fellow skaters.
I would strongly advise everyone here to never trade anything with you again. |

If you had such a problem with my dvds why didnt you say so untill now.....i would have sent you some more in return..i told exactly what i was going to send you and if i remember i sent you something first...
all the dvd i sent you had menus etc...and you told me you had already premade the dvds you sent so you just had to copy them..
Please read the post...im not offering anything for sale here imjust asking for trades.. |

I created all of the DVDs from scratch, I don't mind trading them if its a fair trade and if it's simply for watching and sharing but the fact that you knowingly trade them to make a profit out of someone else's hard work, it's not on. I mean, �9,99 for Airtime II
Also at no point did you mention that you were putting multiple titles on to disks. You mention it in your sale email but not when you traded.
I felt a bit pissed off after the original trade but thought fuck it, it's only a few DVD-Rs, no big deal. When I saw that you had listed some of the DVDs I had authored on your mailout for �9.99, it made me angry. This forum is for trades, not for profiteering. Some skater out there who wants that video now has to spend 10 quid rather than trade it for for the cost of a DVD-R. How do you come to the figure of �9.99 exactly? Seeing as you did nothing, you didn't buy the original video, capture it, encode it, design menus, author the DVD, check it all works, etc, etc. All you do is spend 5 minutes copying up a DVD-R on to a new one. �9.99? Nice mark up. For me that doesn't seem right or fair, resulting in my post.
If you are trading to build up your stock for your business, fair enough, but you MUST make it clear when creating posts and threads about videos you are after. Otherwise it's sketchy. |
